Children's Ministries
Jesus adores children, and so do we! We are honored to welcome, guide, encourage and love the young lives God gifts us with at Coast Vineyard. It is our desire that every child would grow in relationship with Christ, know more and more God’s great love, and have a lot fun along the way. We see children as a wonderful part of God’s family and encourage them to participate now in all Kingdom activity: worship, prayer and intercession, prophecy, service, and outreach. In other words, we want them to know God’s call on their lives begins now and not in the future, regardless of age or size. God uses us big and small, and we believe God uses the small ones in very big ways!
Volunteers
Safety and security for our children is very important to us. Every volunteer working directly with children at Coast Vineyard must go through a legal back-ground check, and screening process to ensure the protection of our children. We also use a check-in/check-out process to further safeguard the children’s welfare.
Services
At our 10:00am service (after worship), we offer childcare for infants in our nursery. We also offer childcare for toddlers (walking-2), a preschool class, and an elementary (ages K-10) class. For our Sunday School program for the preschool and elementary classes, we use the Faithweaver Friends mid-week curriculum by Group Publishing. Each lesson is taught over two weeks in a fun way that the children can relate to, using drama, games, crafts, creative snacks, stories and song. The children also have focused “group time” with a group leader, where they get to share personally and pray for one another. The age-mixed classroom encourages older children to care for and mentor the younger children. Those 11-years old and up are encouraged to serve the children as Junior Leaders in Children’s Ministry, leading different activities and helping in various ways.
