Prayer at Coast Vineyard

For us, prayer is opening our hearts, attitudes, and behaviors to God and asking him to move in, have his way, and make things whole again. It's a conversation with the living God. Our goal is to reflect the teaching and practice of Jesus when it comes to prayer: simplicity, humility and confidence in our Father who welcomes us to "come before His throne of grace with boldness that we may receive mercy and grace to help us in our time of need." (Hebrews 4:16)

Mission Statement

Our purpose in praying for people is to minister God's love and healing. Our strategy is inviting God (as Father, Son and Holy Spirit) to lead the ministry times. We seek first his kingdom and direction before adding our own thoughts or opinions. We value authentic communication with God, and each other. Our behavioral standards reflect maturity in words and actions. We keep prayer concerns completely private unless specified otherwise by persons receving prayer. We are careful to respect physical boundaries when praying for people.

Sunday Morning Prayer Ministry

If you need prayer on Suday, we always have members of Coast Vineyard's prayer ministry team avaliable to pray with you at the conclusion of each service.

Tuesday Prayer

The pastors and people of Coast Vineyard meet for prayer every Tuesday morning from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Everyone is welcome to join us for prayer.

Prophetic Prayer

Once a month our prophetic team offers prayer for those desiring a deeper encounter with God. Call the church office to schedule an appointment.

Prayer Requests

Do you have a prayer request? You can get it to us in three different ways:
1. Write it on the space provided in our weekly bulletin publication, and place it in the offering box.
2. Contact the church office and submit it by phone (voice mail is avaliable)
3. Email it to coastvineyard@gmail.com

Prayer Ministry Training

For the team and those interested in joining it, we provide a quarterly intensive prayer training workshop and continued education. This Workshop is required for anyone wanting to participate on our prayer ministry team. It is also highly recommended for people going on short term mission trips or leading small groups here at the Vineyard. Watch the bulletin for complete details on the next workshop.

Vision Statement

See God's rule and reign come. Equip people to minister to others.
Isaiah 61 and Luke 4 paraphrased:
"...The Lord has anointed us to preach good news to the poor. He has sent us to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve - to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of dispair."
